I am a brother who participates in the church in Cypress. My age is thirty-nine years old and I have a five-year-old boy and a lovely wife who is six years younger than I. As a believer, I had had a lot of faith. I went to denominations, but I was not constituted with truth and even it was difficult for me to preach the gospel. For example, if a human die, where is he going? I thought just vaguely that if we die, we would go to a paradise or the paradise would be somewhere in the heavenly kingdom. Also I was taught like that. In 1983, I lived a military life at a dangerous place going back and forth to the forefront of a minefield. This was a serious matter to me because to put it bluntly, I could die at any time. But I still was curious about where I would go when I died. This curiosity was not solved for a long time. Then in 1985, right after my discharge from military service, while reading books of faith on my own, I met a friend in college who introduced me to the local church. I will never forget the moment I first came to the local church. As soon as I entered into the meeting hall, I admired thinking ‘finally I came where I should come.’ The believers’ faces shone like the sun and I could see that many of them were holding worn-out Bibles because they had read their Bibles so much.
